ioXt internet of secure things

This quarter, the Alliance saw continued growth as more companies, including Motorola, Tuya, Google, Legrand and Distech Controls, certified products with ioXt. You can see these devices on the ioXt Alliance’s Certified Product page, along with many more coming soon.
We also saw great growth in our international partnerships. Through the support of our members, Tuya and PSA Certified have adopted the ioXt standard into the foundation of their products, and expansion into China is on the horizon.
I am also excited at the expansion of security profiles for the consumer market, which will drive transparency of device security at time of purchase. Google and Amazon are leading the mobile IoT App profile.
Our successful “Hacking Your Home” virtual event delved into the importance of security and transparency in devices we all depend on daily.

The webinar featured a keynote session by IBM’s X-Force Red Global Managing Partner and internationally renowned hacker Charles Hendersen, followed by an industry panel with Biohacking Village’s Nina Alli and Silicon Lab’s Josh Norem. Plus, we heard words of wisdom from Tuya’s Anne Marie Olivo-Shaw about protecting our homes..
Overall, we have many great things to show for ioXt’s time during the pandemic—and beyond. The press around ioXt continues to grow-check out the latest on our website.
None of these achievements would have been possible without our dedicated members and team. Looking to be more involved? If you aren’t already, I encourage you to join and get active in one of the many ioXt work groups, which range from technical to public policy, marketing and strategy.
As always, we greatly appreciate your support.

ReFirm Labs provides device vulnerability management for enterprises and device manufacturers. ReFirm Labs pioneered the firmware analysis industry with the creation of Binwalk, the industry-standard open-source reverse engineering solution for firmware that powers the Binwalk Platform.

ReFirm Labs’ Binwalk Enterprise can reduce risk from the connected devices that power business by automatically analyzing and continuously monitoring device firmware for vulnerabilities introduced into infrastructure from network, IoT and embedded devices.

Founded by a team of former NSA hackers who pioneered offensive capabilities against
connected devices, ReFirm Labs is trusted by government agencies and Fortune 500 companies to reduce risk from, automate analysis of, and continuously monitor the attack surface of firmware embedded in connected devices.
